Washington State Republican PartyThe Dimas File

Chelsea Dimas
is too extreme
for Central
Washington.

It all connects, and she wrote it down herself. Here is what she has said, and what the state has caught her doing, four separate times.

The evidence, pinned to the board

She wants to abolish the police.
She wrote it down.

This is not a paraphrase, and it is not an opponent’s characterization. It is Chelsea Dimas, posting publicly under her own name.

“I know WE (BLACK + BROWN PEOPLE) will never be safe until we abolish white supremacy, the police, and ALL contributing systems.”

In the same post she pledged to “work to abolish the systems” and urged readers to demand a police unit be disbanded. Her own campaign biography describes her work as “dismantling white supremacy.”

Why it matters in the 14th

The Yakima Valley needs more deputies on the road, not fewer. A legislator who has committed in writing to abolishing the police is not going to fight for the officers who keep these towns safe.

Exhibit A — her post, excerpt Facebook post by Chelsea Dimas dated January 28, 2023 stating that she reaffirms her vow to work to abolish the systems that oppress, murder and are complicit in harm to BIPOC communities, and that Black and brown people will never be safe until we abolish white supremacy, the police, and all contributing systems.

Four strikes.
Two of them right now.
